Jack and the Meanstalk (Jack & the Halloween Stalk 2: Rise of the Meanstalk)

Once upon another dimension, there lived a young one named Jack, alongside a cantankerous uncle named Mack, as well as many otherworldly beings inside a Haunted Amusement Trailer Park (aka HAT Park). Not long ago, they were very poor, but now they found themselves much richer. With this new affluence, Uncle Mack wanted to turn his young nephew Jack into a proper gentleman and sent him to attend Toity-Hoity Private Academy in the rich part of town. Jack, for his own part, did not care much for the THP Academy, preferring to work at the HAT Park alongside his friends from the Haunted Lands–even the former Skeleton King who now worked as the main gate greeter. With the help of his friends, he spent more time out of class than in–especially when Halloween rolled around.

Description

The story… years after the Events of the Halloween Stalk.

Jack, no longer a young boy, enjoyed working at the park, helping the young visitors and politely (or impolitely) reminding bullies of all ages who is in charge – with the help of a unique set of friends–named the Monsta’ Squad. Aside from those enjoyable duties, Jack and Company would search the twisted licorice vines of the Halloween stalk for the three magic jellybeans before they were picked (and possibly eaten) by the many young visitors to park. The young boy seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to the discovery of magic jellybeans and found them season after season before anyone.

The vines still sprouted in thick tangles from the stump of the original Halloween Stalk, and wound themselves all over the HAT Park, from the Rollercoaster to the amphitheater, to the bone fence, and even the snack shack.   During October, the vines would be bursting with the most delicious candy – in fact – the Haunted Amusement Trailer Park candy vines were becoming world famous.  Although, the haunted harp, the roller coaster of bone, and the giant talking skull greeting everyone quite rudely at the gate all competed strongly for most famous feature.

"Holey Highnotes, Boneman!"

Uncle Mack

“Fee! Fie! Foe! Fum! That ghost harp stings my once-English bum!” the Skeleton King sniveled, perhaps in a squeakier voice than becomes a New and Improved, supposedly all-powerful, all-mighty, Undead Despot.

“Jackie! Help! Get me out of here!” Mack cried out. “Get Jack and the M-Squad-wait a second, you were originally English? A limey? An indentured servitude-in’, crumpet eatin’, tea swillin’, redcoat? No wonder we don’t get along!”

Uncle Mack

The Skeleton King seemed to recoil slightly but recovered retorting quickly: “As your new sovereign I, uh- declare all Doggy Doo-Doo illegal. Yes illegal, I say!”
At this pronouncement, Jack and the monster squad all tilted their heads in unison at a loss for words. Their jaws dropped, eyes narrowed, and eyebrows furrowed. A lone cricket chirped in the uncomfortable silence that followed.
